KantStik®138 NOD
KANTSTIK 138 NOD is a uniquely formulated liquid, external mold release agent. Insensitive to water, it is composed of a blend of fluoropolymer resins dispersed in an organic solvent system. It does not contain silicone, wax or other components which may interfere with post-processing of parts, such as, painting, plating, bonding, etc.
KantStik 138 NOD produces a thin, smooth film which will provide positive release with accurate surface reproduction. This film is unaffected by water moisture and is capable of withstanding molding temperatures in excess of 500°F without suffering any deterioration. KantStik 138 NOD provides multiple release potential for many operations while minimizing mold buildup. The NOD stands for “Non Ozone Depleting”, as the products composition does not contain any of ozone depleting substances and fully complies with the Federal Clean Air Act Amendment.
